I Love Model Railroading!
I got into Lionel trains
when I was a kid in Pittsburgh. Soon, it was
college, then my ownd kids, and college for them, and the
trains sat in a box in the attic...
... until one day, I stopped
at a local hobby store in Enfield, Connecticut
(map).
It wasn't long until I was hooked again. Eventually,
my platform expanded to fill the entire basement.
It ran 9 trains. It had everything, including a drive
in movie theatre and a golf course.
We've moved since then and we have rented a
warehouse, we're creating layouts for people
getting started in the hobby and people who want to
get back into the hobby, but don't have the time,
expertise or
patience to build it themselves.
Our layouts are unique and extraordinarily professional looking. We've
built layouts with one train and some with four, all
completely accessorized with everything including
ground cover, people, buildings and shrubs. The whole
KIT and CABOOSE.
